We believe at NC YESS INC. all youth should have access to any program that will enrich their development despite where they live or lack of funding .
Our Mission
NC Youth Enrichment Scholarship Support INC. (NC YESS INC.) is a community-based youth development and mentorship program dedicated to empowering youth ages 7-17 in NC.
Our mission is to help young people that are under resourced discover and cultivate their talents, gifts, and skills, while fostering core values that encourage career exploration and personal growth through enriching programs.
Our History
Founded in 2024 by Charlotte native Precious Moss, who saw firsthand the positive impact that enrichment programs had on her children's mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
After overcoming a difficult past marked by violence, Precious made the decision to relocate her family to a better-served area of the city.
Through this positive transition, Precious became increasingly aware of the limited growth opportunities available to youth in underserved communities especially those with strong potential but lacking the resources and funding to access these vital programs.
Recognizing the need for change, she founded NC Youth Enrichment Scholarship Support INC. (NC YESS INC.) with a mission to provide youth in North Carolina with the tools and opportunities necessary for personal and academic growth.
